Knowing the bible isn’t knowing Jesus

“You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.” John 5:39-40

Now let me just start off by saying that I am not saying that we shouldn’t read our bibles! What I’m saying is, is that knowing the bible isn’t knowing Jesus Christ.

You see many of us have deceived ourselves into believing that we are “saved” just because we set time aside to read the bible everday.

All things Jesus♥, Sound doctrine/Doctrine of devils

The Trinity doctrine is Antichrist and the true church isn’t founded upon it!

“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”

Colossians 2:8

Now I understand that the majority of professing Christians want to believe in a triune God but im totally convinced that this doctrine is not only FALSE but robbing people of a true relationship with Jesus Christ.

What following Jesus really looks like

I think it would be helpful if I started this post off by describing what following Jesus does NOT look like because a lot of people have deceived themselves (and others!) into believing that they are actually born again believers without denying themselves.

What is the gospel of Jesus Christ?

Now we’re all a little familiar with the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ but mainstream Christianity focuses so much on the idea of these things that we have completely neglected the real Jesus and his message.

Is being perfect and holy or “righteous” even possible?

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

In addition to the previous post, I just wanted to assure you all that we CAN be righteous even though we use the term loosely as if holiness is unattainable.

Once saved always saved is a lie!

“Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.” Psalm 69:28

Now y’all know that I’m going to refute the legendary Once saved Always saved or Saved by grace alone “faith”. And before you get all arrogant on me, yes I know that we are saved by grace and not by works so that no one can boast but that scripture specifically states through FAITH, in which we know without works is void.

Demonic oppression

Overcoming Introversion and Social anxiety

Although it may be hard to believe, I can be a very inhibited person. It’s something that I’ve been struggling with for a couple of years now and to be honest It’s a little embarrassing. However, I’m going to just put myself out there because some of you like myself have found either comfort or identity in this introverted/extroverted stuff.

But first, for those of you who dont know..

In a nutshell,  Introversion is considered in psychology a major personality trait. It’s said that people who are introverted tend to be the opposite of people who are usually outgoing (extroverts). They claim that introverts (who are also very fun, intelligent and artistic people) just savor solitude. But the truth is that we just can’t deal with the crowds because of our social phobias (let’s just keep it real).screenshot_2017-03-02-11-27-34-1

Social phobias or social anxiety is a mental illness in which typically, an introvert has an unreasonable (or excessive) amount of nervousness and fear of being criticized by other people. This is nothing more than spiritual warfare!

Overcoming introvertedness and social anxiety

I have been growing (rapidly) content in who I am ever since I’ve stopped hiding behind introversion. There are many articles written by psychologist from a carnal perspective on how to deal with this but I’m speaking in line with the scriptures and from my own personal experiences. You do not need medication.

So number one, STOP CLAIMING IT!

Stop saying (or thinking) that you’re an introvert and stop finding comfort in all of your research! I know how relatable all of it is but do not label yourself, especially not with anything of this world.

“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”. -Romans 12:2 (NLT)

2. Pray and Seek deliverance

Fear and timidity are not fruits of the holy Spirit (or the characteristics of God). The bible assures us that God has not given us a spirit (yes spirit!) of fear but of power, love and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We should be maturing into the character of Christ not embracing what this world calls “personality” or mental disorders. All of these “personality traits” are demonic, this is demonic oppression. Why are you depressed alone or tormented around others when the scriptures say be anxious for nothing?

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

(Phillipians 4:6-7)

3. Be bold and courageous

Start pushing yourself to engage with other people. God desires unity in the body and a witness to unbelievers. Even though I still feel a little awkward at times, I’m learning not to be so self conscious. Don’t let your pride bully you around. I’ve found confidence in the fact that no matter what people may or may not think I was only created for and by God.

“So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7)

Seriously, pray about all of this.
